Her average speed figure of 52 ties for the field's best, and the morning line of 7/5 suggests the market agrees she's the one to beat. In a maiden field where no horse has broken their duck yet, that kind of rating separation is meaningful.
Cloudsinmycoffee sits third in the TrackWiz rankings at 70.91 and comes in at a fair 5/2 on the morning line. Jockey Javaniel R. Patterson gets the call for trainer Tiffany Husbands, and while her average speed of 50 is modest, she rates as a logical threat to fill the exacta slot if Point Maid handles the front end.
Known to Be (4) checks in with a 58.67 rating and matches Point Maid's average speed figure of 52 — which is quietly the best in the field on that metric. Renaldo Cumberbatch aboard for trainer Lise Pruitt gives her a capable pilot, and at 9/5 morning line odds she's a reasonable show anchor in your exacta and trifecta tickets.

This stakes test at 1 1/8 miles features two horses with legitimate win percentages squaring off against each other, and trainer Lise Pruitt has both the top two choices — a potential stable advantage worth noting.
Bromeo carries the top TrackWiz rating of 89.42 and a 40% career win rate, both elite marks in this field. Sven Balroop gets the mount for trainer Lise Pruitt, and at 7/5 on the morning line, the market has clearly zeroed in on him. The 1 1/8-mile route should test pace duelers, but a 40% career win rate signals he knows how to finish the job.
Stablemate Silver Spiced comes in at 83.03 on the TrackWiz scale — not far behind Bromeo — and Renaldo Cumberbatch gives her a strong pilot. A 12% career win rate is lower than Bromeo's, but she's clearly capable of mixing it up at this level, and the 9/5 morning line reflects her legitimate shot at the runner-up slot.
Mighty Mikee (1) is the only other horse in this field with a meaningful career win percentage — 42%, which actually leads the field. Trainer Devon Gittens sends him out with Rashawn Brewster at 2/1, and that win rate hints at a horse who finds ways to compete. He's a strong show ticket and worth considering in trifecta combinations behind the Pruitt pair.
Race 3
Maiden Special Weight · 5 fur · Dirt
A wide-open maiden special weight sprint at five furlongs where two first-time starters without speed figures add chaos to an already competitive field — pace could be the deciding factor.
Maximum Uproar breaks from the rail with the top TrackWiz rating in the field at 59.33 and an average speed figure of 52. Trainer Keith Pedersen sends him out with Antonio Whitehall, and at 7/5 on the morning line, he's the narrow choice in a race where margins are thin. The five-furlong distance rewards horses who can grab early position, and breaking from the 1-hole puts him in a prime spot to do just that.
Express Zip slots in at 56.67 on the TrackWiz scale — just a tick below Maximum Uproar — and also carries an average speed of 52. Neville Stephenson rides for trainer Jason Homer at a fair 3/1, and in a sprint this short, a horse with a legitimate speed figure could easily steal the exacta if Maximum Uproar gets any trouble out of the gate.
She's a Maneater (6) rates 55.00 on TrackWiz and also shows an average speed of 52, matching the top contenders on that metric. Damario Bynoe takes the mount for trainer Jared Brown at 4/1, and she slots in as a natural show inclusion — her figures are close enough to the top two that a clean trip could earn her a piece of this.
We're opening three races to all readers today, and they tell a nice story about how the card might play. Point Maid draws our eye in Race 1, a maiden claimer going 6 furlongs — she carries our highest free-race rating and should set or press a manageable pace on a surface that tends to reward pace-pressing types when conditions are this clean. In Race 2, the Stakes at 1 1/8 miles, Bromeo is the one to beat at 7/5 on the morning line. Stakes races at smaller tracks can be sneaky-thin fields, so that morning line price could tighten fast — if you like him, early action is the move. Then in Race 3, Maximum Uproar draws our top nod in the 5-furlong MSW (Maiden Special Weight — the conditions reserved for horses that have never won and aren't entered for a claiming price), though a softer TrackWiz rating of 59 tells you this is a wide-open race that could produce a price.
The consistent thread across the free picks: all three are dirt races in the 5-to-6 furlong or classic route range, and on a day with no rain in the forecast and a firm-playing surface, front speed figures to get every opportunity. Keep that pace bias in mind as you work through the full card.
