Happy Memorial Day weekend at Monmouth Park. We've got a clean, crisp Saturday at the Shore — 60 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and the turf course should be playing fast and fair all afternoon. Eight races on the card, and this one has some real meat to it.

What jumps out immediately: five of the eight races are run on the turf, and with conditions this pristine, grass form is going to translate beautifully. That's a big deal for handicapping today — horses who have been inconsistent on dirt but shine on a tight, well-maintained turf course deserve a hard second look.
