The Spa is open for business on this cloudy Thursday, with temperatures sitting at a comfortable 77°F — the kind of late-August afternoon at Saratoga that feels made for horse racing. No heat-related track issues to worry about, and the turf should be running true, which matters a lot on a card that leans heavily on the green stuff.

Nine races are on the schedule today, mixing it up nicely across maiden claimers, allowance company, claiming races, and a turf stakes to cap off the afternoon.
