Happy September, and welcome to Parx Racing's nine-race Tuesday card to kick off the new month. The skies are hanging cloudy overhead with temperatures sitting at a warm 85°F — comfortable enough for the horses, and with no rain in the mix, we're expecting a consistent dirt surface throughout the afternoon. That kind of predictability is a handicapper's friend.

Today's card leans heavily on the claiming ranks, with a pair of maiden claiming routes to open the day, a handful of straight claiming sprints in the middle, and a couple of allowance races at the top of the card to give us something to really dig into.
