Trainer Carl Perry has this horse pointing at the right spot, and a 20% career win rate tells you this runner knows how to finish the job. The 9/5 morning line is fair given the rating advantage, and if the pace sets up cleanly over 5½ furlongs of Lethbridge dirt, look for Blandford Stewart to have this one rolling at the right time.
Napnaintnojoke is our place pick, and at 8/1 on the morning line, there's real overlay potential here. A 16% career win rate suggests this horse fires more often than the odds imply, and trainer Clifton G. Dennis has this one showing up at a competitive number. If Our Life's Work draws the early speed out of the field, Napnaintnojoke could sneak into the exacta.

The 9/5 morning line reflects the public's confidence, and rightfully so. Jockey Shamaree Muir gets the call, and if this horse can control or stalk the pace over 5½ furlongs, the rating advantage should be enough to get the job done.
Keep Up the Pace rates second in this field at 72.98 and opens at 2/1 — making this one of the more interesting pace scenarios on the card. The name is fitting: trainer Lloyd Weeseekase may have this runner gunning for the lead, which could set up a prolonged battle that either cements a front-running score or leaves the door open for closers. Either way, a place ticket at 2/1 offers decent insurance.
Rattlesnake Jack sits fifth on our ratings at 54.56 but opens at a generous 8/1, suggesting the market isn't fully sold on this runner. Trainer Darcy W. Smith has placed this horse in a manageable spot, and a 6% career win rate in a field this deep isn't a disqualifier — it just means you're hunting for a piece of the pie, not the whole thing. Worth using underneath in trifecta tickets.

Strategic Decision is our top pick despite going off at 5/1, and that gap between the morning line and our 84.17 TrackWiz rating is exactly where the value lives. A 23% career win rate is strong at this level, and trainer Chandra Clarke has this runner pointed at a distance — 7 furlongs — that should suit a horse with a closer's profile. Jockey Blandford Stewart knows this course, and at a price, this is a legitimate best bet on the card.
Bernalinho is a close second in our ratings at 81.84 and brings a registered average speed figure of 57 — the highest measurable speed number in this field. A 25% career win rate with Larris Allen in the irons gives this one serious place credentials, and the 5/2 morning line is fair value for a horse that has clearly run fast enough to compete at this level.
Saburo's Grace is the morning-line favorite at 7/5, and that 39% career win rate is the best in the field by a wide margin — this horse simply wins races. Our rating of 81.05 slots it just behind Bernalinho, but if the pace collapses late and a frontrunner hangs on, Saburo's Grace should be right there on the board. Show odds will be minimal, but it's a necessary inclusion in any multi-race ticket.
