Today's card is a nice mix of claiming races, maiden events, and a pair of allowance spots that tend to attract the most competitive horses at this level. Whether you're looking to cash a win bet or build a multi-race exotic ticket, there's plenty to work with from Race 1 through Race 8.

Touchy Subject opens at 8/1 and that's where the value conversation starts. Rated 48.33 by TrackWiz and carrying an average speed of 52 — right in the mix with the rest of the field — this M. Anthony Ferraro-trained runner is an interesting third option in the exotics. When a trainer doubles up in a race, one of those horses is often quietly preferred, and Touchy Subject may be the sneaky one here.
Race 3
Maiden Special Weight · 5 1/2 fur · Dirt
This maiden special weight sprint over 5½ furlongs features a clear TrackWiz favorite but a legitimate pace battle brewing, with two first-time starters adding a wildcard element to the mix.
Mach Schnell leads all comers with a 66.22 TrackWiz rating — a meaningful gap over the second-ranked horse — and trainer Jeremiah C. Englehart is a name that commands respect at this level. Reylu Gutierrez rides, which is another plus. At 3/1 on the morning line, this is a best bet in a race where the ratings separation is as clear as we're going to get in a maiden field.
