Trainer Salvador G. Flores gives the mount to Rolando Cabrera, a jockey active throughout this card who clearly has the connections' trust. In a maiden sprint where raw ability is the biggest separator, that slight rating edge matters.
Whiskey River Dash (No. 6) is essentially a co-top horse at 84.28, separated from our win pick by less than a single rating point, and the morning line has her as the 3/1 favorite — meaning the market agrees she belongs right here.
