Party Foul (5) is the speed horse to respect here. A 30% career win rate is genuinely eye-catching in any field — that number means this horse consistently converts opportunities — and the 57 average speed figure ties for best in the race. Adrian B. Ramos is a capable handler, and at 5/2 on the morning line, the market is taking Party Foul seriously. If Mysterious Tale gets shuffled in traffic, Party Foul could wire this field.

Hibdon also has North Lake Kate in the same race, giving him dual representation — and in our experience, when Hibdon doubles up, it's worth paying attention to which horse draws the stronger jockey. Periphery at 3/1 represents fair value for the rating leader in a maiden sprint.
Miss Madame (4) is the morning line favorite at 2/1, which tells you the market respects her despite a 78.43 rating that trails Periphery's. What she does bring is the best average speed in the field at 54 — tied with Country Sonata and North Lake Kate, but she gets Nathan Haar, who has strong local ties. In maiden company, jockey edge can be the difference, and Haar gives this filly a legitimate shot at the exacta.
North Lake Kate (7) at 6/1 is the value piece in the vertical. She carries a solid 69.06 TrackWiz rating — third best in the field — and shares the 54 average speed with the top tier.
