It's a pleasant Wednesday afternoon at Mountaineer — partly cloudy skies and a comfortable 79°F mean no weather drama to worry about, and that turf course should be in fine shape for what is a very grass-friendly card today. Six of the eight races are carded on the lawn, which is going to make pace scenarios and turf form the dominant themes from the jump.

Eight races in total, with a mix of claiming company and an Allowance Optional Claiming in Race 2 to give us a little class variance to chew on.
