Lady Q (1) opens as the morning line favorite at even money, which tells you the public will back her hard — but her TrackWiz rating of 56.98 lags behind both of our top picks. She's a reasonable show inclusion given her expected market support and reasonable average speed, but we'd want better numbers before trusting her on top in exotics.

Carlos Lozada gets the call for trainer Jorge Lara, and at 5/2 on the morning line, this horse offers solid value given her numerical edge. The seven-furlong dirt distance should suit a horse with her profile, and if the speed duel develops up front, she's ideally positioned to benefit.
Due We Dare (3) is our top-rated horse in this race at 68.24 despite being off a bit on career win percentage at 4%. Trained by Randy Pedigo with Alexander Castillo in the irons, she's priced at 4/1 on the morning line — fair value for a horse whose ratings suggest she belongs right in the mix. Her average speed of 52 is competitive, and a stalking trip could put her in the right spot at the top of the stretch.
Reddingandlee (4) brings a 10% career win rate — best among the horses rated below our top two — and is trained by Anthony Arey with Emanuel Nieves aboard. At 2/1 on the morning line, she'll likely be overbet relative to her rating of 54.44, but her consistency earns a show spot in your exotics. She's the type who tends to hit the board even when not winning outright.

Harry Hernandez rides for trainer Shane Wilson, and at 9/5 on the morning line, the price is fair for the form. The extra tick of average speed at 53 gives her a measurable edge, and on turf at a mile she looks like the most complete package in the field.
Midnight Halo (5) is the morning line favorite at 6/5 and rates a strong second at 78.36 in our model. The caveat is her career win percentage sits at just 6% — she hits the board but hasn't converted wins as often as you'd like. Elio J. Barrera keeps the mount for trainer Justin Jeansonne, and in a race with two short-priced horses, she's likely to run into the money even if she can't quite collar Star Byfar.
Lewis Memorial (1) offers the most interesting value angle in the show spot — a 12% career win rate is strong for this level, and Julio Ramirez, Jr. riding for trainer Rosa E. Ramirez is a familiar local combination. At 9/2, she's priced respectfully and her rating of 64.48 puts her clearly ahead of the rest of the field. In turf races at a mile, pace and ground loss can scatter the chalk — Lewis Memorial is a logical hedge.
