At 9/5 on the morning line, this feels like a well-deserved favoritism — the numbers back it up, not just the price.
Navy Band draws in at 2/1 on the morning line and posts a TrackWiz rating of 81.79, second-best in the race. Trainer Jeff C. Runco is a Charles Town staple, and he rarely runs horses without a plan. If Snitch Dorada gets pressured early, Navy Band could be right there to pounce in the stretch.

Lolita is a legit value play at 10/1 on the morning line despite carrying a TrackWiz rating of 71.54 — third-best in the field. Trainer Javier Contreras has a knack for sneaking horses into the money at generous prices. Don't let the double-digit odds fool you; the rating gap between Lolita and the top two is not as wide as the board would suggest.
Changes sits at 10/1 on the morning line but posts a 64.67 rating, fourth-best in the race. Trainer Vanessa Peltroche teams with jockey Fredy Peltroche, a connected barn that communicates well. The 7% career win rate is low, but the rating says this horse is running better than that number implies — a show ticket at double-digit odds is worth the investment in a wide-open middle of the card.

No Brake Needed is our top-rated horse at 82.71 despite being listed at 6/1 on the morning line — that's a substantial disconnect worth exploiting. The 3% career win rate looks alarming, but TrackWiz analysis suggests the form cycle is trending sharply upward. Denis Vicente Araujo gets the mount, and at 7 furlongs, there's enough ground for this horse to find a comfortable position before making a move.
Finny rates out at 70.55 for trainer Ernest M. Haynes and is pegged at 5/1 morning line — solid place value in what figures to be a contested pace scenario. An 11% career win rate in allowance company speaks to a horse that's been in the mix consistently without always closing the deal. If the favorite gets caught up in traffic or overcooks the pace, Finny is the horse most likely to collect a piece.
